Senior Patrol Leader
A message from our SPL
Hi! I'm Vihaan, and I'm proud to serve as the Senior Patrol Leader for Troop 75. When I first joined, I remember being both excited and a little unsure of what to expect. But what I quickly found out is that this troop is a place where you get to build real skills, make awesome friends and do amazing things.
If you're a new scout joining us, your first few months are all about diving into the basics and getting comfortable. You'll get placed into a patrol, start working on your early rank requirements, and learn core outdoor skills like knot tying, fire building, and outdoor safety. Later when you go to your first campout you can put all your skills to use!
We are led directly by scouts, instead of an adult telling us what to do, adults in our troop are more there for the how to do part of skills we learn! This is amazing because it lets us get real experiences with leadership and gives us more freedom to do activities we love, standing out from other troops!
We also go on really fun campouts and service! All the way from backpacking through the streets of San Francisco to Skiing down a mountain our campouts are really fun! We also get to practice skills that we learn and apply them to our campouts to get requirements done fun and fast.
